As an author, I self-published my first short story collection in 2023 and my first novel, The House of Dust and Shadows, will be traditionally published in 2026 by Rowan Prose Publishing. I recently came third in the Olga Sinclair Prize and was Highly Commended in the Alpine Fellowship Writing Prize.
My most recent positions were as Senior Writer for audio series start-up Pocket FM and Head of Marketing for Globe Law and Business, a legal publishing firm.
In 2017 I was Marketing Director for Storgy Magazine, in an advisory role.
Previously, I was Digital Manager for Education Support Partnership, a charity that helps people working in education. Before that, I worked for conservation charity Blue Ventures in a similar role.
For six years, I ran award-winning ecommerce business Mimimyne as director. Mimimyne was featured in several publications including Hello! online, Daisy Bridgewater's column in the Saturday Telegraph, the Sunday Times and the Express.
Background and credits previously to these roles were in television and radio production as a researcher, script editor and producer. I also co-authored Bringing up Baby: A New Mother's Companion with Daisy Goodwin for Hodder and Stoughton and worked as a researcher on many of her best-selling poetry anthologies for HarperCollins.
