A BOOK OF SHORT STORIES by Tabitha Potts
This book of dark short stories is a selection from my published work. The theme which links these short stories is transformation, and I tend to explore it through ideas like time travel, magic and ghosts. I am interested in liminal spaces and hauntology so many of my stories explore the supernatural although I often experiment with different genres and voices for my fiction.
I have had various short stories published in print anthologies and in online literary magazines. I was long-listed for the Sunderland University Short Story Award, a Finalist in MIROnline’s Folk Tale Festival and Highly Commended in MIROnline’s Booker Prize at Birkbeck Competition.
