A Book of Short Stories for Halloween

It’s coming up to one of my favourite times of year, Halloween or Samhain to those of the pagan persuasion. My podcast has always featured stories with a certain darkness around this time of year – one of my favourites is St Esteban of the Children by E E King but we have a whole series of dark, ghostly tales that are good to listen to at this time of year, I’d recommend A Mean Spirit by Joan Treacy and The Necropolis Railway by myself as well. I tend to read a lot of ghost stories at this time of year and listen to sadder music – have a listen to my You Want it Darker playlist on Spotify.

Anyway, to celebrate Halloween I’m running a promotion on A Book of Short Stories – you will be able to buy it for half price on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk from the 28th of October until the 1st of November. The audiobook version of A Book of Short Stories isn’t discounted, but in exchange for an honest review on Amazon, I’ll send readers of this blog a code to get a free copy of the audiobook. Just contact me via the website to request the code.
